Stoudemire has already known a few hebrew phrases and even has the star of david tattooed on his hand. But Amare believes he has jewish ties as he plans a trip to Isreal to discover his roots. He is on a week long visit to Isreal to learn about the area along with it's language and culture. According to Stoudemire, his "Hebrew Roots" come from his mother Carrie. Amare grew up in a spiritual household as his mother studied the scriptures and history and believes she is indeed a Hebrew. Stoudemire plans to hire a genealogist when he returns to the big apple to digg deeper.
