T-MAC & SHAQ STILL W/OUT A HOME

While almost a month has passed since the beginning of arguably the best free agency period in NBA history, there are still alot of talent left on the market. Even with the likes of Lebron James & Chris Bosh teaming up with Dwyane Wade in Miami , some may think the remaining free agents are of no use to any team. But those people are WRONG! Their are great amounts of talent left on the board. Such as Tracy McGrady & Shaquille O'Neal. True, these once dominant players are well past their prime, they still have the ability to contribute to an NBA franchise. Take Shaq. The big diesal is one of the greatest big men this sport has seen. His dominance may have diminished, but is still usefull to many teams. There are numerous reports that the Boston Celtics are interested in the big fella. The Celts could use a man as such to help there depth at center. Even with the signing of C Jermaine O'Neal, Boston would like to add at least one more center. With the injury of Kendrick Perkins expected to sideline him for the beginning of the season, The Celtics seam to be the best fit for Shaq. The biggest issue with Shaquille is his salary expectations. Shaq reportedly wants more than the 5.8 million dollar mid level exception and to play for a contender. At 38 years of age and carreer lows in last few seasons, Shaq just may have to swallow his enormous amount of pride and take less money if he expects to play this upcoming in the NBA. Hey Shaq, you want more money than your worth and a title contending team, keep this up and you can find yourself jobless or overseas playing along side Stephon Marbury in China.
As for Tracy McGragy, he seems to have mental issues. He's still living in the glory days. He still believes he can be the"MAN" on any NBA team. T-Mac has worked out for the Los Angeles Clippers and most recently the Chicago Bulls. Tracy has been talking as if he were already a member of the bulls and it's because of this, his services may not be needed after all in the windy city. Tracy reportedly still has "unfinished buisness" left in Chicago. The bulls have had their eye on McGrady since he entered his name in the NBA draft. They showed interest in him then and again in the 2000 free agency market. Chicago could indeed use him in a limited role as a wing man for their lack of outside shooters. When it comes to Tracy McGrady, it's certainly not about the money, it's about his stature and higher arcey on a team. If he can accept a limited role as the number 4 option at most, then maybe the former all star could find himself in Chicago Bull red and white this upcoming season
